Quinns Rocks is located in a friendly coastal community in the outer suburbs of Perth.  There are so many things to see and do in Perth, that you could be kept busy for weeks!

Local options include swimming at the beach, having lunch at Mindarie Marina, shopping at Ocean Keys Shopping Centre, doing a workout at the local Gym, playing a round of golf at Joondalup Resort or a game of tennis and BBQ at the local park.

If you are adventurous, you can take a day trip to Rottnest Island, with ferries leaving from Hillarys Boat Harbour, about 20 minutes drive from Quinns.  Hillarys Boat Harbour also hosts the Great Escape Amusement Park which is a fun day out for the kids and also a wading beach, perfect for little ones.  There are a plethora of shops, restaurants and amusement centres, making it the perfect outing for the whole family.

Why not jump the train at Clarkson and visit the City Centre.  It’s a short 20 minute train ride to the Perth City where there are so many things to see and do.  Movies, Shopping, visit the Bell Tower, Restaurants, Museum, Perth Mint, Western Australian Art Gallery and the Swan Brewery, just to name a few.  There are tours around the city and there is a Cat Bus system where you can ride around the city for free simply by catching a Cat bus.  You can also bike or walk along the foreshore overlooking the beautiful Swan River or visit Kings Park, which overlooks the city and is full of beautiful natural delights.

While you are on the trains, why not go onto Port Fremantle where there are markets, the Maritime Museum, the Old Fremantle Prison, which is steeped in history, and have a nice seafood meal on the beach front.  Fremantle was the home of the coveted American Cup and the East Fremantle Yacht Club is a classy place for a meal.

If you feel like a nice drive and you enjoy a good wine, you can always go adventuring in the Swan Valley.  There are so many lovely wineries where you can do some wine tasting and have a lovely meal.  Local arts and crafts are often on display and there is a Swan River cruise that you can take that stops at wineries and local points of interest.

Going further afield there is the Avon Valley, home of the famous Avon Descent;  John Forrest National Park; El Cabalo Blanco, a Palamino Horse Stud that offer lunches and shows; Adventure World, a water theme park; and Lake Leschenaultia, where you can have a picnic by the lake.
